The National Empowerment Group, Incorporated is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization and has hosted various empowerment programs and events in the community. Over the years, we have honored more than 80 women and approximately 6,000 people have attended our empowerment programs. We are humbly seeking your support, which we will contribute directly towards empowering girls, women and senior women through specific health and wellness programming that positively influences her community. 

Jay Holmes is the President/COO of the Minnesota Chapter and Founder of the "Women Unite to Win" – Appreciation Banquet. He holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from St. Could State University with 15+ years of teaching and social service experience with special needs and at-risk students.

Wendy Johnson is the Founder/President of National Empowerment Group. Inc. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin she grew up dreaming big and wanted to make a difference in the community. She was a single parent at the age of 19 and did not know what to do or how to get there. Knowing that things would not be easy; with the support of family and friends, she was able to persevere through the various trials and tribulations of single parenthood. 

Our Mission is to provide educational, professional and personal empowerment programs for girls, women and senior women.

JoAnn Hughes, Manager of Silver Oaks Senior Living Apartments, Director of the Charles Lamont Lovelady Trust Scholarship Fund, President of Concerned Citizens for Justice, Business Manager with J. MOST Music/Lyrics LLC and World Class Events & Promo. Educated in the West Des Moines, Iowa School District. Graduating from Valley High School. Furthering her education in Accounting and Volunteer Management at Des Moines Area Community College and at Drake University in the Non-Profit Leadership/Administration Program.
